Giving Plastics A New Purpose

Response to COVID-19

Fico-YTL sponsored 2000 cement concrete for defense works in Tay Ninh
In the morning of November 26, 2019, The Military Force Region 7 in coordination with the People’s Committee of Tay Ninh Province held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a residential area adjacent to Bau Sen border militia post, Tan Ha commune, Tan Chau district.

Fico-YTL sponsors the outdoor playground for children in Tan Chau District
On October 29, the Tan Chau Youth Union coordinated with Thanh Dong commune and the Sponsor to organize the opening ceremony of the outdoor playground for children. Attending were Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh – Vice Chairman of Tan Chau District People’s Committee. The ceremony also had the participation of the Tan Chau’s departments, unions, the Party Committee and the People’s Committee of Thanh Dong Commune. From Fico Tay Ninh Cement Joint Stock Company (Fico-YTL), there were Mr. Tran Minh Duc – Head of Sustainable Development Department and Ms. Truong Thi Ngoan – Deputy Chief of CEO Office. The outdoor playground located at the Center of Culture, Sports and Community Learning of Thanh Dong Commune. It has a total area of over 200 square meters, including game clusters such as slides, swings, gym equipment with a total value of VND 100 million, sponsored by Fico-YTL. This is one of the main items in the 2019 social security program of Tan Chau district, sponsored by Fico-YTL. Accordingly, in the period of 2019-2023, Fico-YTL continues to sponsor social security in Tan Chau district with the amount of VND 750 million per year, of which support for the district is VND 600 million, Tan commune Hoa is 150 million dong per year. It is known that in recent time, Tan Chau district has mobilized units and sponsors inside and outside the district to equip 11 free game clusters for children in 8 communes of the district with a total cost of over VND 1 billion. Particularly in 2019, a number of game clusters have been equipped in Tan Hoi, Tan Ha, Tan Hung and Thanh Dong communes, creating a healthy, joyful and useful playground for children after school hours.
